Episode 43: [Part 1] Revisiting Kyle Busch - with Mike! 
 
Welcome back to The IBC Guys Podcast!  
In this episode of The IBC Guys, Mike and Dave revisit the Kyle Busch situation.  New information has come out reading the creation of the policy, the agent who facilitated the policy, and the actions of the Busch family.  There’s lots to talk about in this situation and Mike and Dave work to hit the highlights in this two parts series.   
 
Mike and Dave talk through their reactions to the new information as well as the benefits and risks of leveraging IBC through an Index Universal Life (IUL) policy as the Busch family did.  The guys also make educated guesses on how and why things went wrong, providing tangible examples on what to look for when thinning through IUL’s as an option for an IBC policy.  Lastly, the guys discuss why both they and the larger Nelson Nash Institute community choose Whole Life policies instead of IUL’s to facilitate the Infinite Banking Concept.

Key takeaway: For an IBC policy to perform as intended, two things need to happen: (1) the agent needs to build the policy in a way that is knowledgeable and benefits the client, and (2) the client needs to follow through with the promised funding of the policy.

Episode 42: Instead, Make Sure to IBC Like Walt Disney
 
Welcome back to The IBC Guys Podcast!  
In this episode of The IBC Guys, Dave talks about a famous person that did it correctly - Walt Disney!  Mr. Disney needed some cash to begin his journey of starting Disney World, and the bank wouldn’t give the cash to him!  So, like most that would do pretty much anything to realize a dream, Mr. Disney leveraged an asset he had control over - his life insurance policy!
Dave talks through an example of someone famous who leveraged their permanent policy to achieve something great!  Dave goes on to talk through how this same line of thinking can help you leverage a Whole Life policy to ensure that the money your family is sending stays with your family forever!  A flashback to the 1950’s, Mickey Mouse, and talking talking family legacy - this episode has it all!

Episode 41: Don’t IBC Like Kyle Busch

Episode 40: The Other Side of IBC
Welcome back to The IBC Guys Podcast!  
In this episode of The IBC Guys, Dave takes a look at the other side of IBC: the Life Insurance Component.  Much is made of the banking capabilities in IBC, but the life insurance side is often overlooked.  The fact that an IBC policy is tied to a life insurance policy provides stability, tax free implications, and legacy building power for generations.  Dave provides five thoughts on why building IBC policies around life insurance is so important.
